Romantic Road

British eccentrics Rupert and his wife Jan, both 66, take an epic drive across rural India in a battered 1936 Rolls Royce. On this improbable journey, they meet tea-wallahs and maharajahs, dodge tribal conflicts and battle with border officials. Their destination: a human rights festival in Bangladesh run by world renowned activist Shahidul Alam. A self-aware inspirational movie, executive produced by Sharon Stone, Romantic Road is an invitation to live your dreams, no matter how young or old you may be.
